Road Trip USA California to Washington
A month later and right today we are without a goal. Wait, that's not quite right. Our goal is to have crossed the States and Canada in two months to meet my parents in Montreal in September. A distant goal.

Building a House in Colombia Part 2
We are entering the final phase. We have about six weeks left until we leave in mid-June to head back to the States. There is still work to be done so that we can leave the house ready to rent out.

Unknown El Salvador
Angekommen in San Salvador, Hauptstadt von El Salvador, haben wir zunächst absolut keinen Plan, wohin wir gehen sollen. Die eine Möglichkeit ist, gleich weiterzufahren zu dem etwas touristischeren Ort Santa Ana, oder eine Nacht in San Salvador zu bleiben. Wir haben jedoch keine Ahnung in welchem Stadtteil dieser Riesenstadt sich die Hotels befinden.

Building a House in Colombia Part 1
It's great, life on the construction site. Life is a construction site. But now it's about ours in Palomino. The tent stands near the far right corner of our land. Just behind it rises the three-meter-high water tower with two tons of water on top. Until today, the small-looking concrete column with concrete-iron plate holds the weight.

Visiting Northern California
The journey can begin. It takes us about three hours to drive from Ben to Geoff. It feels like coming home. After all, we have spent quite a bit of time in Anderson Valley so far. We know quite a few of the valley's residents, its small villages, and its redwood forests.

About Traveling
Ich habe nachgedacht. Warum immer noch reisen? Was hält mich davon ab, endlich ein normales Leben zu führen? Eigentlich hätten wir doch alles, was wir brauchen: Freunde, Familie, ein Dach über dem Kopf, immer genug zu essen.
