5 weeks on foot through Europe

Today we are off. First of all, we are going on vacation with friends as we often do before a longer trip. The four of us have rented an apartment in Flims, Graubünden, where we want to stay until August 1st.

Until then, we still have time to decide on our first destination.

The only thing that seems clear so far is that we want to get on the train on Sunday to reach our starting point for the long-distance hike.

It would be best to go far enough away to escape the rainy Swiss summer.

Slovenia looks very attractive...

Well, we shall see.

31.07.2021 – Flims

The train ticket is in the bag. Flims to Jesenice, Slovenia. Tomorrow at 8.21 we take the bus to Chur, then the train to Sargans and from there on through Austria to Slovenia. According to the timetable, we arrive at 17.30. The weather looks rather unstable, even in the east. Nevertheless, we are looking forward to a wonderful time in the tent and nature.
