In Shkodra, the first city we arrived in, we were introduced to the Albanian way of driving and parking. Basically, you can drive wherever there is room, regardless of prohibition signs, road markings and common sense.

Oil and tire pressure checked, refueled and a seal bought for the leaking sink at the camping store, we were finally ready for the long-awaited departure to the south at noon on December 6.

Alpe Adria Trail
Natürlich haben wir uns in Flims ein wenig über Slowenien informiert und doch schon einmal vom Juliana und vom Alpe Adria Trail gehört. Trotzdem wissen wir bisher nur, dass wir in den Triglav Nationalpark und an die Soča wollen. So steigen wir also in Jesenice um 18.00 Uhr mit einer halben Stunde Verspätung aus, sattelen unsere Rucksäcke zum ersten Mal und marschieren los durch das von der Sonne gold-rot beleuchtete Städtchen.

3 Days in Ljubljana
Nach über 5 Wochen in der slowenischen und italienischen Natur und über 500 km Wandern auf dem Alpe Adria und dem Juliana Trail, freuten wir uns wie kleine Kinder, wieder einmal etwas Zivilisation um uns zu haben.
